Steven Klein Nijenhuis has been the proud owner of Herberg Onder de Linden since October 2016. Together with his small team of employees he surprises his guests with dishes made of local produce and which all have an Asian touch.

The restaurant is located in a characteristic building originating from 1735. Based on classic French cuisine, Steven Klein Nijenhuis and chef Falk van Essen surprise you with the most beautiful products. They make exciting combinations in which they like to incorporate flavors and preparations from the Far East. The restaurant is decorated in light tones and equipped with comfortable armchairs. On beautiful summer days you can enjoy the terrace in the garden. After your dinner there is the possibility to spend the night in one of the 4 comfortable rooms of the Herberg. We are proud of the Michelin star that Steven was awarded in his previous restaurant 'In de Molen' in Onderdendam in November 2013 and which he since got awarded every year in Aduard.
